Type: Interactive Art Installation
Media: Sound, Sensor & Light

Channels: 4.1

A 4-channel interactive art installation where a pulse sensor receives data from the human finger placed on it. Depending on the BPM range that the sensor receives, different sounds are triggered in the space. The pulse from our body is transported into a new environment through interaction. This installation uses low frequencies of sound associated with a human pulse that can cause certain objects in the space (like shelves) to tremble. This is a way of bringing the sound into a more physical presence. The blue light in the room symbolizes our veins, through which the blood flows back to our hearts.
